To repair these cellar walls; we removed the top portion of the wall that was cracked completely through. We drilled the wall and inserted rebar to help anchor the new section. A form was built and bolted to the wall. We poured concrete and later mortared concrete block to the top and filled the block with cement. Wire mesh was screwed to all areas of the wall that had large or deep voids. The entire wall was coated with surface bonding cement. This bonding cement is used in dry stack block construction . Other photos can be seen in the room addition section of this site. |
